The goal of the Personal Development School NARA (NARAim) is to create a respectful environment in Latvia and beyond. In essence, it builds on more than 25 years of experience of educator, therapist, and consultant Janis Ozolins. To achieve this goal, we offer lectures, seminars, and group and individual consultations in Latvian, English, and Russian, held both in person and online. We also cooperate with organisations in Latvia and internationally, working in these three languages.

In courses, seminars, and various types of educational classes, the main emphasis is to inspire people to improve their life skills and to cultivate, strengthen, and restore their physical and mental abilities. Families are invited, as well as any individual who wishes to live in harmonious relationships with themselves, with others, and with the environment.

Our educational and civic activities are guided by the following value compass:
“NARAim stands for a Respectful, Transparent and Truly Inclusive Society,
where each person takes responsibility to consciously engage in decision-making processes that affect society, so that all parties involved can benefit from the outcomes.”

These values serve at the same time as an ethical guideline, a reference point for our public communication, and an invitation to constructive civic participation.

In this spirit, NARAim currently coordinates a public initiative in defence of the Saldus Culture House as an important cultural space and public property. Our activities include preparing fact-based submissions to Latvian and EU institutions, publishing verifiable documents and summaries, and inviting residents and organisations to participate respectfully in the decision-making process. Through this work we seek solutions that safeguard public assets, support local cultural life, and create long-term benefit for all parties involved.
